Das VB-2 ist mein erstes Waza Pedal, Made in Japan. Da ist die Erwartungshaltung natürlich hoch.
Der Sound ist tatsächlich nicht nur gut, sondern geradezu überragend. Ein derart sanftes musikalisches Vibrato bekommt man wohl mit keiner digitalen Nachbildung hin. Und obwohl 100 % analog, ertönt das BOSS VB-2 klar und brillant. Hier wurden offenbar nur beste Bauteile verwendet. Rauschen und sonstige Nebengeräusche sind somit überhaupt kein Thema.
Fazit: Sehr schönes Pedal mit sehr gutem Sound, eben japanisches Boutique. Das rechtfertigt letztlich auch den für BOSS Verhältnisse recht stolzen Verkaufspreis.
