r
A great percussion analog synth!
rez 27.11.2024
I bought the Syncussion SY-1 without thinking twice after I see the demo video and it's even better when got it in your hands!
This machine is very versatile and you can set very delicate and different percussive instruments and tons of differents sound effects, works best with a very good reverb :D
You can create an infinite amount of kick drum or snares with all the parameters at your hand, if I had enough space I would want to buy 3 or 4 Syncussion to get a complete analog drum machine :)

C
Real analog punch, instant and ridiculously musical
Charlesalbert 12.02.2026
The Syncussion SY-1 is one of those instruments that reminds you why analog percussion still matters. This is not a polite rompler or a glossy modern module. It is alive, sometimes raw, incredibly fast to program, and able to sit in a mix with a personality many contemporary units simply do not have.

The two fully independent voices make it easy to build kicks, toms, zaps, laser shots and synthetic percussion within seconds. The pitch envelope is really the heart of the sound. Wide range, sharp attacks, and the ability to move from round, deep hits to aggressive transients with minimal tweaking. The filter and decay controls are equally musical and never feel artificial or static.

What I love most is the immediacy. A small set of well-chosen parameters, no menus, no hidden layers. Turn a knob and you instantly hear the result. From a production standpoint that means speed, inspiration, and no friction.

Output level is strong and it pairs beautifully with outboard or software processing. It takes compression and saturation extremely well, getting huge without losing clarity or impact.

Considering the price, it is almost embarrassing how authoritative this unit sounds. If you are after true analog electronic percussion with character, this is absolutely worth it.

Again a close emulation of this legendary piece of drumkit.
Very easy to use with instant result.
Great dynamics and tight analog/digital triggering and even cv controll.

Eine weitere Preset - Synthesizer Ikone
Acid Alex 27.08.2024
