Really neat way to split TRRS signals to get them in an out of professional gear

I am currently using two of these to split TRRS signals into and out of DI channels to connect them to professional gear while killing ground loop noise.

I have made up one TRRS to XLR cable for each channel, picking up the appropriate signal in the TRRS.

This is more flexible and neater than splitting everything on a hardwired patch panel or putting a box onto the cable with one TRRS and 3 XLR connectors.

Note: on most TRRS connections you need will to put about a 10K shunt resistor between mic and ground (to convince the PC/iPhone etc that there is a mic present) and run the signal through perhaps a 1uF ceramic cap (to block the bias voltage provided to power headset mics).

Few options at this price. Useful, but a real mult module should be a better choice

It does what is supposed to do: it splits signals. You can send 1 signal to 5 different destinations at the same time (if you so wish, though I imagine the signal will lose its strenght, hence why there are active eurorack modules to circumvent that issue). For my personal needs this gadget suffices.

Ich hab den Splitter nicht geöffnet, aber er ist sehr leicht, wodurch er in der Hand nicht so solide wirkt wie andere. Die Funktion scheint aber gegeben und in manchen Fällen ist das geringe Gewicht vermutlich ein Vorteil.
Die Kabel rasten kräftig ein und halten gut.
Kein Klagen bisher :-)
