Aston Microphones Halo Shadow

I have been looking for a reflection filter in order to record vocals at home. The Halo kept showing up during my research, every time with great reviews, even being described as the "best in the market" by some. I have not used any other filters but I was really impressed by the quality of the Halo and of course the absorption of sound it provides. Might be a bit tricky to set up the first couple of times but once you get the hang of it you'll be using it without a problem.

I thought this was very expensive but I wanted to invest in good shielding as I am working in an untreated room. It has turned out to be well worth it! The thing I like most about it is that it is so light and easy to move around or adjust, as I have to set up and take down every time I record. I have used other metal shields and it was a nightmare for me to move them around (I'm only little!). My only gripe would be that the microphone cable doesn't hang free but is hard up against the bottom bracket, but that is just a visual irritation and doesn't affect the sound. I'm so glad I bought this one.
