Hatte auf dem Flohmarkt eine Viola und eine Violine gekauft, die beide keine Feinstimmer hatten. Das Produkt von Wittner ließ sich leicht anbringen, besaiten und die Feinstimmer funktionieren soweit wie gewünscht.

Einen Audiovergleich unter Studiobedingungen (mit der Frage ob das Plastikmodell gegenüber dem alten Holzausgangsteil nun weniger Sustain hat) habe ich nicht gemacht, aber es ist mir beim spielen nichts aufgefallen.
Da auch Orchstergeigen solche Plastikhalter haben, wird es schon keinen negativen Einfluss haben ...

Soweit also alles in Ordnung.

Upgrade für china - e-viola

Hab damit das schreckliche tailpiece samt stimmer einer China-e-viola ausgetauscht. Stimmer sind klasse und machen nach ca 6 Monaten Keinerlei Probleme. Für meine Akkustische würde ich diesen jedoch nicht nehmen, da ist mir die optik dann doch etwas wichtig und würde ein Paar euro mehr für was aus holz ausgeben. Der Kunststoff wirkt stabil.
