Ich liebe diese Sticks! Sie sind dick wie Eichenstämme und schwer wie ein Pfund Butter (pro Hand!). Nein wirklich: Seit dem ich mit diesen Sticks spiele, möchte ich nichts anderes mehr in den Händen halten. Der Druck auf Snare und Becken ist durch das Eigengewicht so enorm, dass man im Endeffekt weniger Schlagkraft benötigt als bei dünneren Sticks. Ausserdem spiele ich viel mit rim shots (schreibt man das so?) und auch da erzeugen sie einen vollen schönen sound ohne zuviel Kraftanstrenugng. Nach vier Bandproben hat man sich an die Schwere und Dicke gewöhnt. Jetzt möchte ich nur noch wissen: Wer ist denn nur Ralph Hardimon?
