Diese Timpani-Sticks bzw. -Mallets sind (VicFirth-like) sehr gut verarbeitet, fusseln nicht so nervig wie diverse andere und klingen auf den normalen Standard-Kesselpauken à la Sonor, Majestic und co. annehmbar gut. Für professionelle Musiker werden die klanglich allerdings nicht so ganz ausreichen - mir persönlich gefallen sie, nichts desto trotz, ganz gut. Einen kleinen Abzug gibt's wegen des nicht so ganz staccatohaften Klangs. Die erinnern eher an die T1- oder T6-Mallets.

Die VicFirth-Schlägel haben sich in den letzten Jahren zu meines Lieblingsschlägeln für den laienhaften Paukengebrauch gemausert. Sehr wertig verarbeitet, kaum Fusseln - wenn sie kaputt sind, geht eher das gesamte Fell ab, dann weiß man, dass es Zeit für neue ist.
Sehr schöner Klang, auch wenn nicht wirklich staccato. Gerade für Filmmusik nutze ich die Schlägel, für Klassik sind sie eher nicht geeignet, weil doch relativ weich (eben nicht wirklich staccato).

Die Schlägel liegen sehr angenehm in der Hand und sind sehr ausgewogen. Für mich ein absolutes Muss in der Schlägeltasche!
