Great bag for large guitars!
I bought this for my Harley Benton Ex-76 explorer which is an explorer copy with a smaller body. This bag fits the guitar well but it's made for even bigger guitars and with big headstocks. With the EX-76 inside there is still 5cm of space above it and 6cm to the elongated side (for banana headstock). There is also 2cm space on each side of the smaller horns of the body. But because of the lower big horn this guitar sits well in the bag.
This should fit the big Gibson explorer very well!
Inside length from head to longest part is 122cm. Width at the middle of the bag is 30cm.
With the guitar inside it balances well. When you carry it by the handle the bag balances straight.
It sits well on your back. Good thing is the straps are positioned so that the bag sits lower on your back. So the top of the bag will be at the same height as in usual guitar bag. Good for door clearance.
The straps could be attached better. I feel these will not withstand a lot of back carrying.
Bag is Made in India.
PROs
- Great overall
- Padding
- Position of straps so it sits lower on your back - very very good
- Big pockets
CONs
- Could be made stronger where the straps attach
- Straps may be uncomfortable for people with wider necks
- No other cons, great bag!
I have seen 3 of these bags (because I was returning and reordering stuff). They varied a bit in shape. One looked really classy and one looked lower quality (just the look, functionally they were all good quality bags). I feel like the previous production run was better looking.

Solid quality, good enough for me. Not best but for that price is awesome.

Not available in left handed version
The bag per se is very good: good padding, comfortable to carry around, a couple of nice pockets. The problem is that I have bought it together with my left handed Harley Benton EX-84 and the guitar sits face down in this bag, with the strings facing my back when I carry it around. If Thomann would make a left handed version it would gain the fifth star.

An excellent choice for an unusual shape
We all know Explorer shaped guitars are very uncommon, but Harley Benton has managed to capture their incredible feel time and time again. With this case, they have managed to also make its storage and transportation feel easy, with excellent build quality and a lot for extra space for accessories.Carrying this on your back will make you feel like you're on a tour for a top tier metal band!

Does what it says on the tin!!
Does everything you need and want a gig bag to do, but at a very affordable price. Prob not as flight safe for your expensive exp but offers everything a branded or hardcase offers for day to day use. Can fold in half for easy storage

Just measure your guitar first!
Well... For the quality i don't have anything to say.. just as expected.
Now... As the title suggests, measure first! I wanted this gigbag for a custom build i made (Ibanez Xiphos copy) and for an old Ironbird of the silver series.
Basically they don't fit.. Sure it's not Thommans problem that i didn't measure before purchasing. However i believe that if Thomman could manufacture them a little bit larger, for example 3 to 5 centimetres, theese gigbags would be the best choice for a lot of extreme shaped guitars.

good quality
Bought this gigbag for my Cort VX 4V. Unfortunately gigbag is 120 cm long, and my guitar is 125 so I can't close it completely. Therefore, be sure to measure your lenght of your guitar before purchase of this gigbag
.
Nevertheless, gigbag is realy good quality, very thick with strong zipper, strong material and two big pockets. Can't tell for sure how will it act after couple of years, but what I can see now, I think it will whitstand hard usage without a problem.
Only two things which could be done differently in my opinion is the handle that could be placed approx 10 cm toward neck because of weight centre (at least for my guitar), and zipper could be 20 cm longer so that gigbag can be fully opened. Of course, it can be opened enough this way, but guitar then must be kind of "inserted" instead of "laid down" in gigbag. With those 2 corrections and maybe additional 5 cm in lenght, it would be absoultely perfect gigbag for X and asimetric V type guitars.
But when you consider really low price you can't complain if size fits your guitar. I sincerely doubt that it is possible to find so thick and robust gigbag for such type of guitars at this price.

For those unique guitars
There are a lot of awesome guitars that have unusual shapes that do not fit into normal boxes and bags, like an Explorer. This bag is perfect for those kinds of guitars. Now you do not have to carry it around exposed anymore. That alone is a relief.
The bag itself is sturdy and well made. While not being a hard-shell case, it still provides some protection to the guitar.
If you have an "Xtreme Style" guitar that needs protection in storage or transport, then go for this bag. It does the job well.

Decent bag for the money
I use this with a right-handed, standard (non-reversed) headstock Jackson RR. It fits the guitar well. I'd imagine it would have problems with a reverse headstock due to the shape of the bag in that area.
Pros: good padding, overall quality, pockets & storage
Cons:
- a little large for the RR body
- it would be nice to have a small dedicated pocket for picks
- I use this bag to store my guitar in my room upright, which means the pointy wings of the body press against the lower end of the bag. As the padding is the same along the bottom of the bag as everywhere else, I believe it's only a matter of time until my guitar rips through. It would have been nice to reinforce this area from the inside so the guitar doesn't damage the bag.
