They do their job
These cables do their job. However, if you are new to this kind of multicore cables, you should beware that the connectors on one end cannot be plugged too far apart. And that the overall length of the cable is fixed and can't be easily changed. For some applications, it might be better to have many single cables, each of the appropriate length.

good cables for not very much money
I have bought several of these SSsnakes cables and they all work like they should. Beacuse it is all in one cable it makes the spagetti on the floor much easier to handle. I'm using these y cable to connect inserts from my mixer to my patchbay (also bought from Thomann, a behringer on). The plan is to pacth our 24 channel mixer to patchbays to add flexibillity during recording and mixing.. (old school). And I'm planning on buying more of these SSSnakes cables to patch it all up. Maybe if you went up the price range you would get a better sound, but my guess is you would have to go considerable much up in price to get that. you cant go wrong with these..

Exactly fit for purpose
A very affordable way to connect to a mixer! Great value for money and robust.
I bought this to connect my Analog Rytm to a mixer, as it uses stereo outputs to combine the mono outputs of each drum channel. It works perfectly. Solid connections and a robust cable.
The only downside is that the coloured rings on each jack are quite fragile and loose, and can crack/snap, or fall off the jack completely. This happened to me, partly through being rough with the cable. The cable itself is well made but be careful with those coloured rings. It gets very difficult to determine which connections are linked without the colour coding! But hey, on price it cannot be beaten.

4 way insert lead
This is a very neat cable for patching up to four insert points on a mixing desk to external processors.
I use insert leads extensively and this is a very good one. I particularly like the colour coding, which clearly shows which of the 8 mono tails connects to the ring or tip of the 4 stereo insert plugs.
Good quality and recommended, particularly at this price. Very good value for money.

i bought to connect with my compressor and fx to the inserts of my rack mixer. i only wished if there were a smaller size. but the quality is great

Superb value for money
Bought this as a set of insert leads to connect 4 mixer channels to 4 gates. Colour coded, so very easy to use; well made and have been reliable. And such tremendous value for money compared with any other 4 way insert cable I could find anywhere. I've subsequently bought 2 more of these at different times for different applications - they're brilliant.

Really good
The core is a bit stiffer, but overall the quality is really good. 2 of these replace a cable snake that would be 3-4x more expensive.

simple coding and good quality
The colour coding is simple to understand and it is a perfect partner for my quad compressor. It is nicely made. If I needed another similar cable I would certainly buy from Thomann again.
