Really OK for price?
MarcoX 13.08.2020
Yes, I think yes for home and small stage use. With some mixing and mastering correction can be used proudly. Snare and lower toms are with less sound quality and range but can be mixed or solved by finding the right position from toms/drum heads. I like them. Price very attractive.

Ok

Mics are good for their price but the clamps make the microphone come too far from the rim. 16’’ tom is ok but for smaller ones I had to use stands , specifically for the smaller toms, cause the mic is almostbin the centre.. but they make a decent sound and are quite solid so all in all I am happy with them

Great result for the money!!!

Hello guys.I'm working as a soundengineer.I bought this set of mics 3 years ago for rehearsal room for my drum set.But after short time of usage,I was really surprised of theyr[e agility.I mean that I use them a lot in diferent situations. For toms, snare, guitar combos, trumpets, trombones, and they every time performed well and never betrayed me.With a just little EQ,they do the job. Then I decided to use them in rental company I work. The result satisfied me and the Owner. So I reccomend this mics. You wont regret it!!!

T
Surprisingly good
Tony5161 16.04.2015
I bought these for a small venue where the mics get hammered so didn't want to spend a lot. I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of the mics and they look good too.

I was a little concerned when I saw the kick drum mic as it is a similar size to the snare and tom mics. However, it's much heavier and despite its size performs really well.

Obviously you get what you pay for, and they're no where near the sound quality of a set of Shure drum mics, but for the price they perform well and look like they can take a few knocks from a drummers stray tom runs.

It's a shame the case has such a big logo on it though.

Great budget mics and a great set to keep as a handy spare or for occasions when additional mics are required.

The tom mics are not as good as their lookalike 604 from sennheiser but not bad at all.
The kick mic is a bit of a let down and although it makes a sound, its not great.

Overall though a great little set to get started with at a great price!

T-Bone do it again!
Cliff E. 18.02.2015
After buying the T-Bone GM55, I thought I'd give some more of their mice a go. Decided on this set asit was the cheapest but am,as usual, pleasantly surprised by the quality. The rim clip Mic holders are a very good idea, gets the Mic right next to the head for good sound, obviously not the best but for home recording they do the the job well. Nice case too although I think the Velcro that keeps the lidshut needs better adhesive, mine came unstuck within a fortnight but that is a small issue when youthink about the price?

Good, budget set of mics
Anonymous 07.05.2014
Purchased these mics due to budget constraints and had worked with these before. Also, if they get damaged (wayward sticks) then I am not too fussed.

Tom/Snare Mics: Fine mics that do the job. The best thing about them is how small they are.
Tom/Snare Clips: They do sit tall, but do clip to regular drum rims just fine. Do not expect them to connect with much else though.
Kick Mic: Personally, the least impressive of the set. It doesn't work too well as a kick mic in my view, although it sounds good on the snare. It suits my taste in snare sound (low mid punch).

k
Nice mic set for the price
klemen63 06.01.2019
I play in a small band and we needed a drum mic set for smaller gigs when we have to mic ourselves. These mics do the job. I did not expect the sound they produce. They did exceed my sound expectations.

The mounts are not the best and it is good to use some tape to secure them.

For small gigs and home recording, this kit is all you need.
