Roth & Junius Single Machin. Bass 4/4-3/4GTE

Bought these for a cheap double bass to replace the awful tuners that were on it. In that, they served their purpose. They're functional and a step up from what I had. That said, they looked like they were second hand. They were scratched and scuffed, with a lot of grimey dirt under the main cog wheel. This dirt caused a very rough feel when turning them. I had to dismantle each one for cleaning and to add a bit of grease where needed. They feel better now but still cheap. I would have returned them but for the fact that with a bit of work, they were fine for the bass they were going on.
