Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sich Remo mit den Encore Fellen (ich kenne sie auch aus anderen Größen) nicht selbst die Kunden abgräbt, aber auf den ersten und zweiten Blick sehe ich keinen Grund, für ein Powerstroke vom Mutterhaus das doppelte zu bezahlen, wenn ich bei Encore eine solche Qualität geliefert bekomme. Das Fell aus der Hülle genommen und angeschlagen: Es hat sofort einen satten Ton und klingt, wie ein solches BD Fell im unaufgespannten Zustand klingen soll. Alles in allem bin ich mit Qualität, Klang und Langlebigkeit sehr zufrieden....ach ja: Einen kleinen Wehrmutstropfen habe ich dann doch noch gefunden: Es wird kein Klebepatch zum Schonen des Fells an der Auftreffstelle des BD-Pedals mitgeliefert....aber da ich mein Fell für eine Gongtom brauche, ist das für mich nun wirklich kein Problem...

Bonne peau de grosse caisse pour ma 20x8

J'ai acheté en même temps une Remo Encore 20" pinstripe et c'est cette PS3 qui fait le meilleur job, avec une peau de résonnance Yamaha simple pli avec petit trou d'environ 4" en partie haute.
Ca reste une 8" de profondeur donc je n'ai pas le coffre d'une 22x16 mais ça lui donne un beau son rond et percutant à la fois.

nicht so zufrieden - Fell relativ dick

Fell relativ dick

Ich habe mit dem Fell mehrere Wochen experimentiert und konnte die Bass Drum nicht wirklich zum Schwingen bringen. Dann aus Frust ein neues Evans EQ1 (auch mit Dämpfer-Ring und mit Vent holes) montiert - WELTEN im Sound! Ich befürchte, die Folie ist zu dick.

Würde es nicht wieder kaufen.

Mit den Encore Ambassadors auf den Toms/Snare hingegen bin ich sehr zufrieden.
