Bought for a 20" edrum kick as the 'white' Ambassador I bought from Thomann recently was a fugly cream colour that didn't look right on my kit. This black version is a lovely deep shade and smooth to a mirror finish that looks ace.

Tone is not important to me of course, but for those thinking of putting this on an acoustic kick then you should know that this is way more resonant and tuneful than the white coated version (which has a fairly solid but papery thud to it).

My edrums look loads better for this one, and being opaque it completely hides all the electronics and dampening in the drum from the audience. Perfect for my needs.

Das Fell lässt sich problemlos aufziehen und gleichmäßig spannen. Sound ist - bei passender Dämpfung - für diese Preisklasse wirklich gut. Haltbarkeit wird sich noch herausstellen ;-) bisher kann ich es nur empfehlen.
