Single "high C" string.

Bought this product to supplement a 5 string set to go on one of my fretted 6 strings (a 1992 Japanese Ibanez sr1306pd). Fitted last week, seems very well made, went into tune nicely with the normal amount of previous stretching. Intonation great across the entire fretboard. The tone is well balanced with the other Ernie Ball strings, puts a nice zing back into the bass. Stayed in tune well so far. I wouldn't hesitate buying pyramid strings in the future. Great prices and usual excellent service from Thomann, as per usual.

Good c string for my 6 string bass

Ich wollte einen 6 String Bass in C Drop Tuning stimmen. Irgendwie gab es keinen geeigneten Saitensatz, bei dem die C Saite nicht eine völlig andere Spannung gehabt hätt, als die Anderen.
Lediglich Warwick hatten einen 5 String Satz mit einer hohen C Saite anstelle des tiefen Hs, aber dann hätte ich ja immer noch eine dicke Saite zukaufen müssen und Warwick Saiten bekommt man nicht einzeln.

Also habe ich mir 6 Pyramit Saiten bestellt: 30-40-55-65-95-126
Das ergibt einen richtig guten Satz für die Saitenzahl und die Stimmung.
Kann sich jetzt jeder selbst fragen, ob man so einen Bass wirklich braucht. Die Saiten sind jedenfalls spitze ;-)

Me cogí la cuerda porque el juego que usaba antes era .28 a .105 y ya no estaba disponible. Me parece que invertí bien mi dinero en esta . Tampoco uso mucho la cuerda de arriba, pero me ha durado bastantes meses y sigue igual que al principio. Teniendo en cuenta la poca cantidad de cuerdas de este calibre y su precio, está muy bien.
