Da mir die Vic Firth 5A American Classic auf Dauer nicht mehr zugesagt haben, habe ich mich nach Alternativen umgesehen. Dabei stieß ich auf die Ian Paice Signature Sticks.Habe sie dann bestellt und umgehend getestet.!!! Und muss sagen das ich positiv überrascht bin.Die Sticks sind sehr gut verarbeitet, liegen super in der Hand, haben eine sehr gute Gewichtsverteilung und sind für einen schnellen, rockigen und harten Spielstil den ich Pflege, sehr gut geeignet.!!!!!

Excelentes palillos estándar

Luego de 22 años tocando batería puedo decir que he probado muchos palillos y estos fueron los que más se adaptaron a mí realidad: golpes fuertes, mucho rimshot, mucha exigencia. Duran y tienen gran balance. No sé quiebran fácil como me ha pasado con otros palos de la competencia. Específicamente hablo de este modelo de Pro Mark Ian Paice.

Très bonnes baguettes

Baguettes robustes, très bien équilibrées. On sent qu'on a un produit de qualité entre les mains.

Personnellement je les aurai préféré un tout petit peu plus épaisses, mais c'est subjectif.

Le prix en revanche est beaucoup trop élevé. Peut-être qu'on peut trouver similaire dans les modèles qui ne sont pas signature.

Muss man mögen, aber - einmal infiziert...

Zugegeben: vor 20-oder-so Jahren habe ich diese Sticks wegen des Namens gekauft. Auch, wenn ich u.a. Phil Collins Sticks und viele andere ausprobiert habe und ursprünglich "5A-Trommler" war. Nachdem ich die Paice-Sticks das erste Mal gespielt hatte, bin ich aber nie mehr zurück auf 5A oder 5B gegangen und spiele seither nichts anderes mehr, egal, bei welcher musikalischen Gangart. Die Qualität und Verarbeitung ist - wie von ProMark gewohnt - sehr hoch und bei mir halten die Sticks wirklich lange durch - gebrochen ist mir noch keiner. Die Sticks sind durchaus schwerer und dicker, als das, was man "von der Stange" bekommt. Die Gewichtsverteilung ist ebenfalls eher ungewohnt, schaut man sich aber Paice's Spielweise an und weiß, wo er den Stick packt, versteht man auch, warum der Schwerpunkt ziemlich mittig liegt. Sicher kein Stick, den man am Ende packt. Trotz des hohen Gewichtes ermöglicht er nach etwas Gewöhnungsphase sehr schnelles Spiel, sowohl für Rolls, als auch Singles und ermöglicht super rebound. Dazu haben die Sticks durch das Gewicht ordentlich Dampf auf Fellen und Becken. Letzteres sollte man beachten, wenn man z.B. ruhigere Stile auf dem Ride spielen möchte. Da hört man den schweren, großen Holztip dann doch. Alles in Allem kann ich ehrlich gesagt mit keinem anderen Stick mehr umgehen und erschrecke mich immer, wenn ich aus Versehen mal nen anderen in die Hände bekomme. Unbedingt ausprobieren!
