Gorgeous but so breakable

This is what I’ve always wanted - a thick, long stick in maple. It is a work of art. Very nicely balanced and I love the thought of Bonham growing up using his father’s sticks and possibly using those as his inspiration for this model. But as with anything made of this wood it simply can’t take any serious play without showing serious signs of wear and tear. I use a mainly electric hybrid kit (Zildjian L80 cymbals and a bit of mounted percussion) but even so I doubt these are going to last long. Will be fun while it lasts though.

Seit Jahren mein bevorzugter Stick

Der Stick ist etwa so dick wie ein üblicher 5B, aber fast 2cm länger. Durch das leichtere Holz (Ahorn statt Hickory) bleibt das Gewicht aber trotzdem auf dem Niveau eines Hickory-Sticks normaler Länge.
Die Haltbarkeit ist trotz des leichteren Holzes sehr gut. Ich bin meist eher überrascht, wie viel "Hihat-Abrieb" der Stick aushält, bis er wirklich bricht.
Ich kann jedem, der einen langen aber trotzdem leichten Stick sucht, nur wärmstens empfehlen, diesen mal zu probieren.

Sur des dizaines des baguettes testées. ces pour moi les meilleurs. Bien équilibrées. je m'entraîne avec. je prend d'autres plus lourdes pour taper.

Ahorn-Sticks! Spiele für gewöhnlich die VF MJC4. Und damit auch ziemlich rockige Sachen. Wenn ich aber mal richtig zulangen muss/will, nehme ich in Zukunft die Jason Bonham Signature Sticks. Wer Ahorn-Sticks gerne spielt und auch lange Sticks bevorzugt, sollte diese definitiv mal in die Hand nehmen.
