Great orchestra strings

I'm a bass player in a well known big symphony orchestra. These strings work very well on most basses. The sound is round, not sharp, very blending and loud.

Schon sehr lange spiele ich verschiedene Saiteninstrumente, Gitarre, Mandoline, Ballaika-Bass, Bass-Gitarre und letztendlich Kontrabass, nun in einem Streichorchester. Die Besonderheit beim KB liegt darin, dass ein kompletter Satz gelegentlich nicht voll zufriedenstellend klingt. Die Pirastro Passione G-Saite vermag das, was bei der gleichen Saite des ansonsten sehr schön klingenden Flatcrome Steel-Saitenssatz nicht gelingt: sie scheppert bzw. näselt nicht und klingt warm. Dabei kann ich gern auf das etwas besser Sustain der FlatcromeVerwandten verzichten.
