Ich bin mit den Hardanger Saiten voll zufrieden. Sie sind dünner als "normale" Violinsaiten, aber da die Hardanger insgesamt deutlich mehr Saiten hat, ist eine geringere Spannung auf den einzelnen Saiten sinnvoll. Meine Hardanger ist theoretisch verstärkt um auch Violinsaiten auszuhalten, ich bevorzuge aber nach wie vor diese Saiten hier, um das Instrument zu schonen.

Die normal besponnene D-Saite ist mir im ggs. zu den häufig verwendeten grob gewickelten D-Saiten viel angenehmer im Gefühl.

Die Schlingen von Pirastro halten gut und auch wenn die Saiten deutlich dünner sind, kann ich keine kürzere Lebensdauer als bei den Saiten meiner normalen Violine ausmachen.
