Good but not what I expected.

Evah Pirazzi in orchestral tuning is very popular and good sounding string. I played on that set several time and I was satisfied.
This solo string is the same feel as orchestral tuning ones and it's really nice and smooth under fingers. Doesn't bend a lot so it has a firm tone when pressed against the fingerboard.
I'm just not really satisfied by the sound of it. It's good but shallow and lacks deepness in the tone. Lacks resonance and overall colour that Evah Piazzi usually has

Auf meinem Bass klingen diese Saiten super! Sie bringen das Instrument richtig zum schwingen und haben eine angenehme und nicht allzu stechende Klangfarbe.
Hängt aber natürlich auch immer stark vom Instrument ab...

Da premettere che ero e sono un affezionato delle spirocore , volevo una corda che mi desse un suono meno metallico ,più scuro. Con questa corda ho trovato finalmente quello che desiseravo: un suono più scuro meno metallico , e al tempo stesso un buon sustaine e una buona sensazione all'attacco, deciso e corposo. Forse il Mi (E) avrebbe bisogno di qualcosa in più a livello di suono rispetto alle altre ,ma forse dipende anche dallo strumento. Le consiglio soprattutto per il pizzicato, con l'arco non sono molto reattive, mi orienterei più sulle cromsteell ,ma ci si può suonare tranquillamente.
