Fantastic cymbal. Extremely bright and glassy sound with a very quick decay. It was possibly a bit too small and not as loud as I would have hoped. My advice would be to get the 18" or 19" if you can.

Great all purpose crash cymbal

Great all purpose crash cymbal. The cymbal is good for any kind of music, but it will perform best in pop, light rock and modern metal styles. For classic Hard rock and Heavy metal, it is better to use paiste signature full or power crash cymbals, which have a more distinct main tone of the cymbal.

Ein Becken das einfach nur Freude verstreut

Seit mehr als 2 Jahren bin ich nun im Besitz des Paiste 16" Line Fast Crash und ich freue mich bis heute immer noch über jeder einzelnen Schlag auf das Becken.

Das schöne an dem Becken ist für mich, die sehr direkte Ansprache die durch die sehr flache Bauart begünstigt wird. Bei einem normalen Anschlag entfaltet sich der Ton sehr schnell und klingt langsam aber sehr seidig ab.

Trotz dessen, dass das Becken sehr laut ist, kann man es mit Gefühl auch sehr leise spielen, was in Stilrichtung wei z.B. Jazz sehr wichtig ist. Vorallem bei dem Spiel mit Mallets kommt die Qualität des Beckens sehr zum Tragen.

Der Ton kann dabei sehr schön von leise nach laut aufgebaut werden. Ich denke jedoch, dass das Becken nur für behutsame Spieler geschaffen ist, da meines Erachtens die Lebensdauer bei sehr Schlagintensiven Stilen (z.B.: Heavy Metal) sehr gering ist.

Fazit: Das Becken ist für Bereiche, wie Jazz, Blues, Rock und Pop der ideale Begleiter, man sollte aber beachten, dass es ein sehr dünes Becken ist.

Une excellente cymbale, très contrôlable, que ce soit pour du wash riding ou des attaques plus puissantes. Un son très plein et très chaud, sans ces sonorités métalliques que l'on trouve trop souvent avec Paiste. Toute la gamme Signature Line est chaudement recommandée !
