Tolles Mundstück für Jazz.

Ich spiele dieses Mundstück auf meinem Selmer Reference 36, von dem ich sowieso schon immer begeistert war. Seit ich jetzt aber dieses Mundstück spiele, bin ich komplett zufrieden mit meinem Sound. Es spricht super an und klingt knackig, trotzdem kann man damit auch einen tollen Subtone-Sound erzeugen (ich spiele 2 1/2 Vandoren Java, damit klingt es eher knacking und voll).
Im Vergleich habe ich das OL Super Tonemaster probegespielt, auch in 7*. Die NY-Version passte aber besser zu mir. Das ist letztendlich aber eine reine Geschmacksfrage und kommt auch sehr auf das Saxophon an, das man spielt.

Das Otto Link hat durch die große Kammer einen schönen vollen Ton und sieht durch die Vergoldung sehr gut aus.

Einziges Manko ist die Blattschraube, die nicht sauber verarbeitet ist. Das Gewinde, das die Andruckplatte auf das Blatt drückt, sitzt nicht exakt in der Mitte der Andruckplatte. Dadurch wird das Blatt etwas seitlich angedrückt und somit nicht korrekt fixiert.
Ich verwende diese Blattschraube mittlerweile nicht mehr, sondern eine GF System III.
