I work with this device as main hall and one in group for acoustic. Crystal sound , very honest picture . Ideal for piano in conjunction with the PZM. works very well with the violin and viola. does not increase the natural sound of the string.

Utilizzo questo microfono prevalentemente per shooting indoor, preferendolo al mio sennheiser mkh 416 che potrebbe creare cancellazioni in spazi ridotti.
Il km 185 possiede un'eccezionale risposta in frequenza ed è molto fedele alla realtà per quanto riguarda la registrazione di voci e dialoghi.
Montato su asta boom e rode blimp è praticamente esente dai rumori delle vibrazioni a patto che si attivi un filtro passa alto sul multitrack recorder.
Pur essendo un microfono iper-cardioide la risposta in frequenza non risente particolarmente della sua direzionalità, cosa che lo rende ottimo per la ripresa di dialoghi o speech di gruppi allargati.
L'ho testato anche in studio ed è eccezionale sulle chitarre acustiche.
