Mojotone 58 Quiet Coil Neck/Middle

Als Erstes möchte ich die Konstruktion erwähnen. Für mich ist das ganz klar ein Humbucker, allerdings sind die Spulen nicht übereinander sondern zwei senkrecht stehende Spulen, die auf der Oberseite mit Klingen versehen sind. Dazwischen liegen die typischen Singlecoil Stabmagnete. Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, sind das aber nur Fake-Magnete damit die Singlecoil Optik erhalten bleibt. Darunter ist eine massive Metallplatte, ich glaube man nennt das Baseplate. Ich hab nur einen Tonabnehmer für meine HSS Strat (1x Volume, 1x Tone) gekauft und diesen als Halstonabnehmer verbaut. Position 2 und 4 haben herrlich gebrummt und so habe ich den RWRP SC in der Mitte gegen einen Halstonabnehmer getauscht und schon war Ruhe in den Zwischenpositionen. Output Monster ist der 58er keins. Trotz der Metallplatte ist er gemäßigt. Habe ihn eher Humbucker mäßig an die Saiten geschraubt. Zum Sound: Schwierig. Da ich bisher nur SC oder HB oder HB im Singlecoil Format verwendet habe ist mein Erfahrungsschatz mit HB's die SC's sein wollen nicht so groß. Was ich sagen kann. Es ist ein Kompromiss. Du Ruhe ist schon nicht schlecht und mit Crunch Sound scherbelt das Ding auch Singlecoil mäßig, aber mir fehlt irgendwie die Spritzigkeit bzw. Dynamik. Allerdings ist die Ruhe ist schon nicht schlecht und wer mal was in dieser Richtung versuchen möchte dem ist der 58er Quiet Coil empfohlen. Aufgrund der aufwendigen Konstruktion halte ich den Preis für völlig angemessen. Wie ich finde echt ein Schnäppchen. Mojotone empfiehlt die Verwendung von 500k Potis. Lest einfach mal auf der Herstellerseite nach. NACHTRAG: Mittlerweile hat sich mein Eindruck verändert. Einmal einbauen kein Problem, aber bei mir war es so, dass ich die Kappe abgenommen habe und dann nicht mehr drauf gebracht habe bzw. dabei den Pickup beschädigt habe. Für mich einfach unbrauchbar. Wenn nochmal Mojotone Quiet Coil Pickups dann nur noch ein komplett montiertes Schlagbrett. Einzelne Quiet Coil Pickups kann ich nicht empfehlen.
