Absolutely great - super versatile

Super versatile with an expressive sound that fits a wide range of styles. The closed sound is tight and warm, and the overall tone is washy but controlled. Not super bright, but it still cuts through the mix beautifully. Perfect balance of character and clarity.

Fantastic hi hats, loud & articulate

Fantastic hi hats, they're loud enough when open to cut through a dense live mix and can give nice articulation when closed. I'd definitely recommend this set if it falls within your budget

Mid range greatness

I use it at a space hardcore punk project and it stands out in the band mix played open and on more psych slower parts it has a great crisp played with foot and excellent articulation and definition when played closed. It never disappoints (rehearsal, gigs and recordings)
