Der Audio-Track lässt sich mit dem Music Speed Changer auf das gewünschte Tempo bringen und dann schaffen es schon die etwas fortgeschrittenen Schüler aus dem Stand und mit Hilfe der Tabulatur in die ersten Lead-Guitar-Stücke einzusteigen. Danach lässt sich immer Neues entdecken und lernen oder einfach nur das Spielen genießen. Vor allem für jugendliche Schüler sehr motivierend und mal was anderes für die E-Gitarre.

Wenig lehrreiches Zusatzmaterial für Anfänger oder Komponisten (Theorie, Clichés in Worte gefasst etc. kaum vorhanden).

Ich würde es daher mehr als ein Studienbuch sehen für den fortgeschrittenen Gitarristen, der nicht an der Hand geführt werden muss und von den Tabs den Stil lernen kann, ohne Hits zu spielen beim Lernen (kann ein Fortgeschrittener dann per Ohr deduzieren, da die Studien schon bekannte Konzepte aus Sorfsungs behandeln).

Für mich ein ideales Buch. War gar nicht auf der Suche nach Surf Rock aber Style und Inhalte hatten mich angesprochen. Quasi ein Blindkauf - der sich aber absolut gelohnt hat.
Das Buch hebt sich etwas von anderen Büchern ab und man muss ganz schön mitdenken und arbeiten. Wer sich darauf aber einlässt, kann sein Repertoire ordentlich aufpimpen.
Ich bin jetzt jedenfalls begeisterter Surf Rock Fan und hoffe, bald ein paar Songs in petto zu haben.
