Great way to bring the Marshall sound everywhere!

I really like this pedal, it didn’t took me so long to find the sweet point of sound I was looking for.

Compared to the distortion of a DSL amp, the JCM800 pedal is way more edgy and treble driven but with the sensitivity knob you can add more mid and bass body to the sound. I think that is great for a lead sound.

I have used this pedal with a solid state Vox amp and a Fender Twin Reverb and in both cases it brought the Marshall sound with no problem. That’s why I think this pedal is a great way to bring the Marshall tone everywhere.

Right now I’m using this pedal as my lead sound in combination with my DSL5CR amp from where I use the ultra gain as the crunch sound.

Very good effect for its price (Made in Vietnam). Heavier than it needs to be, but ...! It runs on a battery (9 volts) with a low current consumption (20 mA). Be careful with the GAIN, SENSITIVITY(second distortion) & TONE settings, they are very sensitive and you need to find your "sweet spots". In my case, I needed to add TS9DX to achieve the tone I like. You experiment! Good luck!

It is the distortion from the JCM800

... But I have some issues with the volume. I find it weird that to be as loud as the other drives, it needs to be at 9 (while the others are halfway through or just slightly higher (5-6). Other than that, perfect in combination with the TS9 and with the big muff. Also big pedal, which is no longer part of the pros. But all in all I am happy.

Das neue Pedal von Marshall war für mich eine geniale Sache um den legendären JCM 800 Sound auf meinem Board zu haben.

Klanglich ist das Teil dem Original sehr ähnlich. Ich habe das Pedal an einem ENGL Gig Master vorgeschaltet. Die Verzerrung ist überaus dynamisch. Das Pedal reagiert sehr angenehm auf den Anschlag. Schade ist das es nur ein Tone Regler gibt. Dennoch lässt sich ein extrem fetter und hochwertiger Sound herausholen. Die Kombination mit einer Les Paul hebt es noch hervor. Ebenfalls lassen sich große Unterschiede feststellen In der dynamischen Reaktion des Pedals ob man über eine Telecaster oder Les Paul spielt (meine Beispiele). Auf jede Art von Booster ist eine große klangliche Veränderung der Effekt was die Stärke der Verzerrung und Lautstärke betrifft.

Zusammenfassend eine lohnenswerte Anschaffung. Tolles Pedal
