These strings are a very nice middle between nice crispy slap bass tone and still elegant and warm enough for other types of music. Im also happy about the price, not the cheapest, not the most expensive, yet great quality and good looking. In fact they feel great to the touch, amazing handcrafting/manufacturing.
For consumers outside Europe, I encourage you to ask Thomman team to dispatch your products with UPS, it is possible for the same price as long as it doesn't exceed 5 kilos, UPS is much better, faster, safer than DHL, I have plenty of complaints to say about DHL.

Was Gerald Marleaux als Standard auf seine wunderbaren Bässe aufzieht kann doch so schlecht nicht sein, ja das kann man so sagen. Saiten sind wie bei Stainless Steel zu erwarten Höhenreich und knackig, das Spielgefühl ist recht angenehm im Vergleich zu manchen anderen Stahlsaiten.

Ich wurde sie in etwa mit den Sandberg Saiten vergleichen, mag daran liegen das beide bei GHS hergestellt werden. Wobei die Marleaux Saiten noch mal etwas mehr Klarheit im Ton haben und vielleicht etwas edler sind ( aber das ist jetzt eher subjektive Bewertung ).

Alles in allem gute Saiten auch für andere Bässe, ich habe auch einen Satz auf meinem Sandberg California 4 aufgezogen und bin begeistert.

Pour du 35" la corde de Si est trop courte, impossible de la monter.
Pas de souci pour les autres cordes.
Le SAV Thomann trouve ça normal…justifiant que ma basse est extra long scale et les cordes sont long scale.
Je cherche toujours une explication au faite que seul la corde de Si est défectueuse.
Sinon le son et le touché est agréable.
Résultat un jeu de cordes dans le vent !
Déçu…
