USB-C mixer with Bluetooth and FX

Mackie's ProFXv3+ series builds on the trusted legacy of the original ProFX range, delivering the same reliable, professional-grade USB mixers – with enhanced modern tools for today's content creators and performers. Designed for real-world use, from home studios and podcasts to livestreams and live performances, each model features high-resolution 24-bit/192kHz USB-C recording, editable GigFX+ effects, Mackie's signature Onyx mic preamps with EQ, and latency-free monitoring via dual USB returns. The ProFX6v3+ is the smallest model in the lineup, combining two mic channels, three stereo inputs, Bluetooth connectivity, and three USB-C recording modes (including loopback) for seamless DAW integration. A clear, full-colour LCD allows real-time effects editing, while the onboard compression and intuitive layout make it an ideal entry point for musicians, streamers, and solo creators seeking flexibility without complexity.

Onyx at its core

Both microphone input channels on the Mackie ProFX6v3+ are equipped with Mackie's renowned Onyx mic preamps, widely praised for their transparency, warmth, and generous headroom. Each features switchable 48V phantom power, Hi-Z options for direct instrument input, a 2-band EQ, 100Hz low-cut filters, one-touch compression, and effects control. Two additional stereo line inputs support external sources, with a stereo 1/8" input the final stereo channel for mobile devices or DAW returns. Effects are handled by the GigFX+ engine, offering 12 editable effects accessed and saved via the full-colour LCD. Reverbs, delays, and modulation effects can be dialled in and fine-tuned on the fly, then routed to the main mix or the mic channels, and instantly muted via a dedicated button or optional footswitch. Bi-directional Bluetooth also allows backing tracks or phone calls to be routed through the mix.

Where it fits best

While the ProFX6v3 specialises in straightforward analogue mixing and recording, the Mackie ProFX6v3+ adds a set of creative tools for users who need a little more flexibility. Editable effects, Bluetooth audio integration, and switchable USB-C recording modes make it equally suited to podcasters taking remote calls, streamers blending DAW playback with live input, and musicians layering performances in real time. Its compact footprint is a natural fit for desktop and solo workflows, while the added I/Os also make it useful in mobile or hybrid setups, for example as a compact submixer for cue mixes or auxiliary playback. Whatever the environment, the ProFX6v3+ adapts quickly while staying focused on the task at hand.

About Mackie

In 1988 Greg Mackie, already a successful co-founder of a pro audio company, founded Mackie Designs Inc. with the goal of producing affordable, high-quality mixers. The company's first official product, the LM-1602 line mixer, was initially produced within the four walls of his home. As sales figures were encouraging, its successor model CR-1604 soon followed - and in 1991 the company finally moved into its first proper production facility. The combination of reliable quality and low prices quickly brought the company enormous success, so that by 1995 Mackie had already sold 100,000 products. In 2003, the company was renamed LOUD Audio, LLC so that there is no longer any confusion between the Mackie brand and its former parent company of the same name.

Keep it clean

The Mackie ProFX6v3+ doubles as a 2-in/4-out USB-C audio interface, capturing the main mix at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution while providing two independent stereo returns from the DAW. USB-C enables three recording modes, each suited to a specific task: Standard records the full mix with effects, Interface sends a clean signal from channels 1/2 to the DAW, and Loopback blends computer audio into the mix for live-streaming or voice-over work. A front panel blend knob makes it easy to balance inputs and playback for latency-free monitoring. Bluetooth adds another layer of practicality, bringing backing tracks or phone audio straight into the mix. The mixer ships with Waveform OEM and the DAW Essentials Collection, a complete recording and production toolkit featuring 16 professional plug-ins covering EQ, compression, reverb, delay, and modulation.
