Sounds Incredible, but Suction Cup Was Faulty

I’ve always wanted a LOM Geofon, but since it’s constantly sold out, I grabbed this one instead — and honestly, I’m not disappointed at all. The sound is incredible and exactly what I needed.

The only issue I ran into was the suction cup. The screw attached to it was a bit janky, almost like it was pressed or bent from the top, so the tip wouldn’t catch properly when screwing it onto the geophone. It’s a minor problem, and I don’t think this happens with every unit — just mine had it. I’ll probably buy a separate suction cup for situations where I need it.

Because of that small defect, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, great piece of gear.

Das Geophone ermöglicht einem echt besondere Klänge in der Welt zu finden.
Wer aus Field Recordings Musik macht kommt an diesem einzigartigem Mikrofon nicht vorbei. Ich konnte unfassbar düstere und spannende Klänge damit finden.
