Bought two sets out of curiosity and placed one set on my Yamaha A3R .It’s true that the A and E don’t sound as zingy ( if that makes sense) but they somehow shine through for a very balanced and silky classical sound .I’m going to put the next set on my Lowden .If your looking for something to play Deep South blues ,I don’t think you would want them ,for soft finger picking these are fantastic.,just takes getting use to.

I love these strings, I was worried about the quality due to other comments, but they have proven to be very good, no issues and they do not wear out as quickly as others have said. The sound is very pleasant, string tension is lighter, low E string sounds solid as well. In general a pleasant warm sound, much less zing compared to standard 80-20. They squeak a bit, so you have to take that into consideration if you slide your fingers a lot. Great for both pick and finger style. Much better sound and feel compared to the Ernie Ball Silk & Steels. La Bella offers heavy gauge, which is great and not an option with many other brands. The 12 gauge I bought felt like gauge 13 of D'addario XS, although tension is lower of course. Used on my Taylor GS Mini and I did not have to adjust the truss rod (no fret buzz). If you like to experiment with strings, give them a go!

Montées sur une dreadnouth.

Basses baveuses, médiums étouffés par les aigus, cordes trop molles qui finissent par friser lors de grosses attaques (non ca ne viens pas de ma guitare)...

Usure prématurées : oxydation à plusieurs endroits dès le lendemain de la pose, et cela s'empire de jour en jour !
Elles marquent aux niveau des frettes, est ce que ces usures aboutiront a une ou plusieurs casses ? Je ne sais pas car je ne les ai gardées que quelques jours tellement ce jeu ne me convenait pas...

Avantage :
- Font moins mal aux doigts..... (ca fait un peu léger comme avantage)
- Les hammer-on sont plus simple a effectuer (puisqu'elles sont molles), mais les slides c'est la catastrophe...
- Le look de la guitare est amélioré grace à leur couleur argenté, ca change du doré.
- Le packaging est sympa, avec un code couleur sur les boules, cela peut aider ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'ordre des cordes.

Conclusion :
Je mets 3 étoiles pour que mon jugement reste un tant soit peu objectif, mais aussi car le but de mon commentaire n'était pas de sabrer ce produit. Par contre à titre personnel je n'en mettrait qu'une seule, voir pas du tout !
Puis a ce prix.......vous m'avez compris.

NB : Cet avis est basé sur un ressenti purement personnel, elles pourront plaire a beaucoup, surtout si elles sont montées sur des guitares différentes de la mienne...
NB 2 : Ma guitare est réglée pour un tirant light (L, soit 12/54 environ), j'ai pris du médium (M, soit 12/56 pour ce modèle) et l'action de mon manche n'a pas bougé.. Si cela peut aider..

Das geht nur für gewisse Sounds ...

... leider nein bei mir. Die Silk&Steel sind definitiv keine Allroundsaiten und auch nicht für bestimmte Genres. Die sind sehr eigen und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sie für das eine oder andere Stück gut klingen. Aber für mich ist diese Saite ein Experiment. Der Ton will, aber kann nicht.

Für die Verarbeitung habe ich vier Sterne vergeben, obwohl ich die gar nicht beurteilen kann. Die Saiten fühlten sich gut an, waren aber keine halbe Stunde auf der Gitarre (Breedlove Solo Concerto).
