I bought it because i got one when i bought my other stand.

It is useful to keep speaker from rotating if there is some wind or surface is not completely straight. Also it helps to achieve a tight fit on the shaft.

Mich hatte schon immer gestört, dass die Topteile über den Subwoofern meistens schräg auf dem Distanzrohr sitzen. Okay das hat keine Auswirkungen auf den Sound aber ich finde es halt schöner wenn alles gerade und ausgerichtet auf der Bühne steht. Durch Zufall bin ich beim stöbern im Internet auf diese Distanzringe gestoßen und habe diese sofort bei Thomann bestellt.

Was soll ich sagen, die Ringe sitzen super auf dem Distanzrohr und sorgen dafür, dass der geringe Luftspalt zwischen Distanzrohr und der Aufnahme in der Box, ausgefüllt wird. Dadurch wird erreicht, dass das Topteil gerade auf dem Rohr sitz und nichts mehr wackelt.
Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich zur Zeit keine Angaben machen aber bei K&M ist man ja eine gute Qualität gewohnt. Von mir gibt es eine 100 prozentige Kaufempfehlung.

Ideaal voor als je toppen met een tussenbuis op een subwoofer plaatst. Geen last meer van gewiebel.
Het is handig om ze eerst in de sub te plaatsen en daarna de tussenpaal in de sub en deze adapter te doen. Op die manier zit hij extra stevig.
Het nadeel is dat je ze wel makkelijk kwijtraakt wanneer je ze niet in een vaste installatie gebruikt. Verder niets op aan te merken. Een aanrader!
