Excellent mouthpiece. In the beggining I was too proud to drop the reed size, but once I did (from 3 to 2.5 / Vandoren ZZ) the mouthpiece really blossomed. It now has a great responce and it gives a great freedom to mould the sound. It needs some control in order to keep the sound from leaning to the bright side, but otherwise it offers a very warm feeling. Personally I prefer polycarbonate from metal mouthpieces and indeed I couldn't be happier with my choice. It took me around a month or so of getting used to it, but now everything's perfect. The only minor problem so far is that, due to the bigger opening, I haven't figured out yet how to hit the really high overtunes... but this is it! Overall I am very satisfied.
** make sure to buy mouthpiece cushions with it!!

Das Jody HR* ist perfekt verarbeitet und spricht leicht und frei an. Im Gegensatz zum originalen Otto Link ist es etwas "offener" im Klang hat eine Spur mehr Höhen im Sound. Auf jeden Fall hat es einen eigenen Charakter. Die höheren Lagen auf meinen Tenor (Selmer MK VI) klingen mit dem Jody HR* etwas voller. Mir gefällt es sehr gut. Wer den Link Ebonit Sound sucht, sollte das Jody HR* meiner Meinung nach unbedingt antesten.
