Great quality, but it was beyond annoying at first, for a couple of months, to keep it in a nice position in from of the microphone. Its better now but I would not buy it again and go through months of frustration with it.

When your super focused on singing/recording the last thing you want is the pop filter messing up your focus and groove.

Prehaps I got a dud but I wont be buying again to find out.

I bought this so that I could use the Shure sm57 for recording instruments or vocals. Due to the flexible neck you can simply move it out of the way for instruments or in front of the mic for vocals! This is perfect with the Hercules mic stand HCMS 533b where you can adjust the stand to be straight for vocals or with a boom for instruments extremely quickly. I have compared it with and without the pop screen, it worked even better than I expected !
Perhaps the only negative is that there could have been some kind of padding in the screw fitting to prevent scratching of the stand….however this is something that one can add themselves if needed. I have had great experience with Hercules products over the years and strongly recommend!
