Mit diesem Pop-Filter ist es möglich, Sprache ohne störende Pop-Laute aber trotzdem bassreich aufzunehmen, da kein Low-Cut-Filter (Absenkung der tiefen Frequenzen unterhalb von 100 Hz) mehr erforderlich ist, der bei Schaumstoff-Windschützen in der Regel zur Abschwächung von Pop-Lauten notwendig/sinnvoll ist.
