The sound is very clear and punchy and can be adjusted very easily. The Drive gives the sound a very gritty and rough texture which is what I was after. Only downside of this amp is the noisy fan on the back, it's sounds like a hair dryer on full blast. It eventually goes back down to silent but randomly revs up again every 5-10 minutes. However this shouldn't be a problem when practicing in a band or on stage.

Except for the noisy fan which sets in after 20 minutes or so, this is THE gigging amp. Easy to carry, easy to dial and with the 800 watts for that price I wouldn’t worry about the fan. I play louder than that anyway.
