Cheapest flats I could find, but...
just a little too dull. Better than bright rounds though groundwounds are undoubtedly the best compromise - not too dull but not too bright. These are OK at a push though.

They're flatwounds
Installed these on my JB-75MN NA Vintage Series. So far the sound is ok. Not as good as my normal brands, I use 2 different brands depending on top strung or through body and desired sound.
The good:
Have a great feel, nice and smooth.
Appear to be easy to fret and not too fatiguing.
Sound so far is decent, not as good as some of the big brand names, but only have a few hours on them. Perhaps they will sound better with more hours.
The not so good :
Sound is more anemic than other brands, but as mentioned still breaking them in.
Can't comment on longevity etc as of yet.
I purchased these out of curiosity, hopefully will be pleasantly surprised. So far they seems promising.

Good value
Initial feeling is a bit stiff. However the strings loosen up pretty good. Good sound out of my telecaster bass. Excellent value for money

Nice
Nice mellow flatwound sound, good strings for experiments, really soft in action, nice feel under the fingers.

Great starter flatwounds
If you've never tried flatwounds before and don't want to spend too much on your first set, these are an excellent choice. Comfortable under the fingers with a nice, classic sound, you can't go wrong.

Just good to try if you are looking for your first flats
Sound-wise, I don't think they are too "flatty", but rather feel-wise.
Still, I like it. The price-quality ratio is outstanding.

This is a great choise if you are looking to try new sounds. They are the only flat string I have tried, but they do produce a nice tone, especially compared to the stock strings on my bass

Great Value Flatwounds
Fitted these to my Harley Benton fretless (which came with some - not very nice - roundwounds). They have transformed the instrument. Maybe not the best, but should be good enough for most people. I would certainly buy again.
