Its amazing the sense of freedom with these! I'm new in the world of wireless guitar systems, and I feel truly liberated from the strains of cables! 'Til now I only use them at home, no rehearsals and of course no Live use because of Covid-19. But I will surely try them as soon as possible! Sometimes the sound has fluctuations, like hiccups (or tiny interruptions), specially when the home wifi is on, but changing a channel or two and the problem always disappears. The tone for me is great, and when I plug straight in the amp or on my pedalboard and play, I find it magnificent. But for a tone "purist" it may be a problem, cause when I A/B them with a quality cable, then I can very slightly hear but more importantly I can feel a small degredation of my tone. Is it enough to put me off? Not in a million years! Would I use them to record an important piece? No, never! Will I use them on my next rehearsals and - hopefully soon - try them also on a Live situation with my band? Definitely yes!

I own an analog wireless and also owned another chinese compact digital wireless like this one. The Airborne is better than both. First of all, far better tone than analog. Very little compression and retains highs very well. Dynamics are good, so is the sound level. There is absolutely no latency or it is not audible. Battery life is good, the transmitter lasts about 4 hours and reciever 5-6 hours. I only wish it had an inbuilt alarm when it reaches 15%, but you can't have everything.

Like I said tonewise it stays very true to the real tone when at full volume, however cable is still king. Where this thing lacks is sensitivity to volume and tone changes. I use volume and tone knobs all the time to fine tune my sound. This is nowhere near as sensitive as the cables and this really is my only complaint. Very good value for the money, can't really comment on built quality after a month of use

I wasn't expecting this to work as well as it does, its a very pure sounding connection, very very little quality loss - if jack to jack was 100% the signal you get from this would be around the 95% mark in my opinion. Its very well made, compact (smaller than it looks in pictures).

I have used this unit as a jack connection to my amp with absolutely no problems, while practicing, rehearsing with a band in a couple different environments and experienced no issues. I have also used this in conjunction with a portable headphone preamp to feed my in ear monitors, and that worked like a charm too. Very very good product for the money. They also clip together neatly too - a feature which isnt advertised.

I guess I have an abundance of riches and shouldn't complain, but I still do. I have a small home studio with half a dozen guitars, 3 amps, a multi-effects pedal and an audio interface for recording. I am fed up with trailing cables all over the room, tripping over them and having to coil them all up and put them away when I am done.

The Airborne almost completely solves the problem and my little studio is now clutter-free.

It just works! Choose guitar and an amp, plug the transmitter into one and the receiver into the other, turn them both on and off you go. It is fantastic to be free of cables.

The Airborne looks quite big compared to the Line6 or Boss equivalent but in practice it plugs conveniently into every piece of kit I own and does not get in the way whilst playing. The only thing that is less than perfect is when plugging it into my Tonemaster Deluxe, with the amp's control panel on the front, the Airborne has to be plugged in with its back panel facing out. It's a purely aesthetic problem.

I have had no problem connecting any piece of kit. The sound quality is the same as using a cable. I have two electro-acoustic guitars with pre-amps, and they both work fine. I don't know if they count as active pickups. The first time I used the Airborne I had a couple of glitches when playing, literally for a second or two each time, but have had nothing since. The wifi router is in studio and I have experienced no drop outs so far.

I can't comment on the battery life or charging time yet but the two-way USB charging cable is quite convenient. A docking station would have been nice but I can build a simple substitute - a block of wood with two holes in it.

I highly recommend the Airborne. It does everything I need and is a fraction of the price of the Line6 and Boss alternatives.

I wanted to go wireless for a while but since I'm just in a small local band didn't want to bust the bank.
This thing is just amazing for the price, it's small, battery time is more than enough for a gig (or even two to three gigs) and it just works.

There is no noticeable signal loss or latency vs a cable that I can hear.

At home I did found that that wifi signals may affect performance, my practice rig is literally next to my wifi router and I got dropouts when only 5 meters away from the receiver.

At practice however I haven't had a single dropout and was even able to leave the room and walk for more than 10 meters with a thick concrete wall in between.

The other guitarist in my band was very skeptic because of the price... but now also uses one :p
