Nice Forestone Hinoki Alto Sax

I tested this reed with my Meyer 7 and I decided to use it only for study.
The sound is warm, but a little bit poor of harmonics.
I suggest to try Forestone Hinoki because more interesting that Forestone traditional. From thomann the box was in a optimal status !!
Pro: warm sound. High quality of material.

Schwer kontrollierbares Blatt

Zusammenfassung:
- Blatt schwer zu kontrollieren
- Blatt scheint "bockig"
- Sound hat kaum Charakter

Ich spielte eine Zeit lang mit einem Black Bamboo und war damit für für Funk & Soul sehr zufrieden, obwohl man von dem Blatt sagt, dass es eigentlich für die Klassik einzusetzen ist.
Da das Hinoki für Pop und Jazz konzipiert ist, habe ich es gleich mal ausprobiert - ich war und bin gar nicht zufrieden.

Es neigt zu quietschen (und das passiert mir mit anderen Blättern selten). Exaktes (!) Platzieren war notwendig, um das Quietschen zu minimieren - und da das Blatt eher schmal geschnitten ist, ist das nicht einfach.

Die hohen Töne (ab d''') sprechen schlecht an und ich muss mich sehr konzentrieren, die Töne dann auch rauszukriegen.

Allgemein habe ich das Gefühl, dass das Blatt quer über die Range schwer zu kontrollieren ist.

BTW: Ich habe das Blatt mit einem Rousseau JDX6 getestet.
