Gute Wahl für High-Distortion Metal-Rhythm-Arbeit und dennoch flexibel: mit guten Clean-Sounds und zusätzlich schönen Single-Coil-Sounds.

Ich habe die Tonabnehmer in eine Gibson Les Paul Studio eingebaut. Als Standard-Voicing für Steg benutze ich P90.
Bei High-Distortion gibt dies Akkorde mit crispen Höhen, schönen Chunk und Punch Beim Switch auf das andere Voicing gibt es deutlich mehr Mitten und weniger Höhen.

Der Halspickup in P90-Voicing hat natürlich mehr Mitten, aber schöne Höhen.
Beide Voicings sind toll für Clean-Sounds und für High-Gain-Solo-Arbeit.

Die Single-Coil-Voicings klingen sehr gut, besonders zusammen.


Übrigens ist bei diesem Set der Unterschied zwischen Voice 1 und Voice 2 beim Stegpickup deutlicher als bei dem Open Core.
