All the "basses" covered

Fender Squier Affinity PJ Bass in black, front view

The Squier Affinity PJ Bass Pack gives budding low-enders everything they need to start taking their first steps: Alongside the black Squier Affinity PJ Bass with its typical Fender styling, the package also contains a high-quality amplifier and a set of accessories that include a gig bag, a strap, a cable, and a set of picks. All of this makes the Affinity Bass Pack an all-in-one solution for anyone who dreams of becoming the next bass legend.

A winning combination

The Squier Affinity PJ Bass that indubitably forms the core of this package capably upholds Fender's long-established tradition in terms of looks, sound, and playing feel, and it features a poplar body with a neck and fingerboard made from maple. The bass's simple-but-effective combination of two pickups and passive electronics means it's tonally flexible enough to cover a wide range of musical styles, as well as making it the perfect partner for the Fender Rumble 15 amplifier that forms the other main component of the package. This compact combo packs both amplifier and speaker into one unit and comes equipped with a three-band EQ section that allows the player to dial in the sound exactly as they need it, and its cool vintage look means that bass and amplifier visually complement each other perfectly. The matching gig bag included here in turn ensures that the bass can always be safely transported from A to B.

Nothing left to chance

The Squier Affinity PJ Bass Pack is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to start playing bass; the cool look of the PJ Bass with its black finish and maple fingerboard means its owner will always want to pick it up and play, and its versatility will give them plenty of scope to experiment and find their own sound. Putting together that first setup can quickly become a very daunting task, as the sheer variety of basses, amps, and other equipment available makes it hard to decide which combination is the right one. Luckily, however, Squier has taken the stress out of getting started with its Affinity Bass Pack, which gives players all of the essentials and lets them get straight on with what is important: Learning to play.

About Squier

Fender is without doubt one of the most legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturers of all time. The company was founded in 1946 by its namesake Leo Fender († 1991), whose innovative ideas brought a breath of fresh air into the musical world. His Telecaster, Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass are not only classics – they also continue to shape the styles of musicians in countless genres to this day. Incidentally, Squier has existed as a company since the 19th century. It supplied Fender with strings right from the start, before being acquired by the company in 1965. Fender has been producing its iconic guitar and bass models at beginner-friendly prices under the Squier brand since 1982.

All set to start jamming

The Squier Affinity Bass Pack gives bass players the ideal setup for practising and playing at home; the Rumble 15 amp features an AUX input in 3.5mm mini-jack format to which they can connect their mobile phone or MP3 player in order to jam along to their favourite songs. And so they don't have to pack up when it gets late and their parents or neighbours want to turn in for the night, there is also a 6.35mm headphone output for silent practice. At the same time, however, the Rumble 15 still has enough volume and low-end punch for the PJ Bass to be heard when playing with other musicians, where its combination of P-style and J-style pickups make it easy to find the right spot in the mix.

J
Excellent for beginners
Johnbad 14.02.2023
Before i purchased this bass set i was using a borrowed old ibanez. The difference is insane. So delicate and amazing handling. I cant recommend it enough. If you are a beginner at learning bass think no further, this is the bass for you.
The amp is also very good for its size although it only has the basic equalizers, but then again as a beginner they are all i need for now.
The only drawbacks of the set are the accessories. The carrying strap is very small and totally unsusable and the gigbag.

Disappointed
Gaston Villalba 10.07.2025
Since the start the bass was working fine but sometimes the output jack was giving issues, after 3 months it stopped working since the output jack needed to be resoldered again, the cables inside are super cheap and the store said it wasn't covered by the warranty when this clearly can't get broken in just 3 months of use if the quality of the instrument and cables were good, not recommended

S
Nice starter/practice pack but quality control lacking.
Scarts 07.08.2025
It arrived when it was supposed to, but upon unpacking the bass I found one of the screws on the jack bracket and 2 screws on the scratchplate had been inserted at an angle and were sticking out, so I had to re-position them so that they are flush as they are supposed to be. The guitar had the usual "checked by quality control" label with all the signatures, so quality control must have been asleep on the day this guitar was checked!
