R
I can see why people love it now!

So I got this amp not too long ago, after buying it kind of on a whim based on the overall reviews online and peoples recommendations.

Let me tell you, I am new to this, okay? I got my Jackson 5 string bass plugged in to this thing and it sounds lovely! It feels great, it sounds perfect and it has all the beginner EQ options that you would need out of an AMP. I was considering other combos like the VOX VX50BA, the small Markbass Micromark 801, EBS Classic Session 60 but I got the rumble instead.

Some more notes:
- People praise it for its low weight, it isn't "heavy" but it's not that light either. I am not a big woman at all though, even my bass is heavy for me so... yeah, just careful if you're getting it if you're tiny :)

- The knobs. I wasn't sure they would be of high quality or if they would feel sturdy but they do! They absolutely do. And they notch nicely at noon.

- The size. Definitely bigger than I anticipated from multiple photos/videos, it might seem small if you're just seeing it online but in person? That thing isn't that tiny at all.

- Sound and features... simply great. Outstanding. It's warm but it's mallable to the point where you could pretty much make it sound however you want it to sound within reason. It's loud, punchy, warm, it's just perfect. It shakes my room, too. It's a beast for its size, definitely!!!

- The "Fender look". I wasn't a fan of the typical Fender look but honestly it looks much nicer and more professional in person than I would think it would. I thought it looked okay online but it looks and feels great in person, so yay! I'm happy with it.

Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable amp for practice/small gigs. It's a perfect gift for a bassist who needs a new amp which is well priced, too. Thanks for reading :)

A
NIce and practical amp

It does not have the punch and the oomph of a larger amp with a bigger speaker (or multiple cones), but the Rumble 100 is a little smart beast. The sound is somewhat vintage-oriented so in most cases is more suited to genres like blues, r&b, classic rock, country... Of course there's no rule that prevents from using it for other kinds of music, but personally I wouldn't recommend it for slapping and in-your-face tight funky bass, for example.

It's very very light, so you are motivated to bring it along to rehearsals and have always "your sound". For live use, it has enough power to be used with satisfaction in small club situations. The line out is very handy so that you can pass the signal to the PA when gigging in bigger places, but keep in mind that tone and level will be affected by the volume settings of the amp: if you lift the volume to have more of you on stage, it will change also on the line out (some PA engineers could hate this).

H
Surprisingly lightweight
Hagner 01.08.2020
Got this bass combo for rehearsals and I was totally taken away by how lightweight this unit is - makes you wonder if it is empty inside! Sound is great and provides loads of variations. Only downside is that, although this is a 100W amp, it was maxed out in the bigger rehearsal rooms and still didn't feel very loud. (And our band is not very loud)
