Decent vintage pickups

The 59s are better, but these seem to take drive pedals a bit better - unfortunately my pair was wound hotter than spec - 6.3/6.4 resistance as opposed to the listed 5.9 which makes them sound very flat and compressed if you set the pickup heights to standard spec - my pair must be lowered a lot for them to 'breathe'. Disappointed in fender's quality control pertaining resistances specifically but the pickups themselves seem decently manufactured except some devious solder joints at the base of the middle pickup.

Trop beau pour être vrai....

...et pourtant c'est vrai!
Pour ceux qui recherchent le son strat 60's, ces micros sont une pépite.
Ce sont ceux qui équipent la gamme American Vintage II 61, et la qualité de ces micros n'est pas étrangère au succès de cette série de grattes.
Le son est incroyablement proche de certains micros Custom Shop (j'hésite à dire similaire), mais à un prix on ne peut plus correct (ça revient à 55€ le micro)!

A noter que, dans la même gamme proposée par Fender, les 57 sonnent tout aussi bien!

Indéniablement parmi les meilleurs rapports qualité / prix si vous recherchez le son de la strat. Et en voyant ce qu'est devenue la politique tarifaire chez Fender, c'est un miracle de trouver ce genre de produits à ce prix là au catalogue en 2026!!
C'est pas compliqué, j'en ai carrément pris un set d'avance pour de futurs projets.

Buscas vintage? Amras estas pastillas

Si buscas tonos vintage de guitarristas de los 60 que usaban stratocasters, estas pastillas son para ti. Tienen una salida mas que decente, no he notado caida de volumen respecto a mis antiguas pastillas alnico 5 MIM. pero si he notado cambio en el tono, mas medioso y "gordo" menos abrupto entre graves y agudos. DIgamos que son menos "clean". Se nota en cuanto metes overdrive que son mas guarras. De entrada cuando las instalas, si estas acostumbrado a pastilla muy limpias, te parecen apagadas... pero ahí esta su gracia, por lo menos para mi. Puede ser un pega, que el mic central no es de polaridad inversa (ya que son una reproducción fiel de las pastillas del 61), con lo que si eres un guitarrista que usas esa posición para cancelar ruidos, lo notarás. Sinceramente quienes tocamos con stratocasters terminamos usando noise gates para alta ganancia siempre. EN definitiva contento, porque es lo que buscaba.

Auténtico sonido Fender

Set de pastillas muy equilibrado en todas las posiciones. Cabe destacar la pastilla del mástil, sonido vintage clásico de Fender; y la pastilla central (no tiene bobinado inverso al tratarse de un set vintage). A la pastilla del puente le falta algo de carácter para mí gusto, pero es personal. Las posiciones 2 y 4 suenan bastante decentes. En definitiva, un set bastante equilibrado y con un auténtico sonido Vintage que harán sonar tu stratocaster como debe, y a un precio apetecible.
