Decent vintage pickups
The 59s are better, but these seem to take drive pedals a bit better - unfortunately my pair was wound hotter than spec - 6.3/6.4 resistance as opposed to the listed 5.9 which makes them sound very flat and compressed if you set the pickup heights to standard spec - my pair must be lowered a lot for them to 'breathe'. Disappointed in fender's quality control pertaining resistances specifically but the pickups themselves seem decently manufactured except some devious solder joints at the base of the middle pickup.
