Ich hatte mir vor kurzem einen Höfner Shorty Bass CT zugelegt, dessen werkseitige Saiten einfach unsäglich schlecht sind. Viele Rezensionen zum Shorty sagen, der Output des Pickup wäre zu gering. Von wegen: Mit den Super Slinkies kommt aus dem Shorty ein Sound, wie aus einem Baby-Stingray und das bei einem ganz normalen Pegel, wie bei jedem anderen guten Passiv-Bass auch.

Wie bei allen Slinkies gilt aber: Erst nach 2 Wochen intensiven Spielens, ist das sehr prägnante metallische Sirren aus den Saiten raus und die Sache wird "rund".
