Combined filter and VCA for a Buchla sound

Advantages: tiny amount of rack space and current required for a combined VCA and VCF, gives the classic Buchla sound (though that isn't based on a hands-on comparison). The ability to use a clock to trigger a variable release envelope also potentially saves on an envelope generator.

Disadvantages: Thin panel and small knobs are a little fiddly to use. Although it doesn't deviate from the unit's stated purpose, the LPG sound is a lot more limited than a classic VCF and VCAin terms of variation.

Ich habe 2 LPGs gesucht, da ich sie hinter einen Stereo-Oszillatoren patchen möchte. QPAS (z.Bsp.) war zu breit für mein Rack und da kam das Modul von Erica Synth gerade richtig!
So konnte ich denn auch in Ruhe den Klang des LPGs mit, und ohne Resonanz vergleichen. (Mit Jumper = wenig Resonanz).
Am Ende kann ich mich meinem Vorredner anschließen: ich habe die Jumper aufgesteckt. Dies ist natürlich eine reine Geschmacksfrage. Verglichen mit dem Make Noise LXD 12 dB Vactrol-Gate ist die Resonanz ohne Jumper jedoch ziemlich stark ausgeprägt.

Klingt wirklich gut das PIco LPG , der VCF Modus gefällt mir besonders gut wenn die Resonanz geringer durch den Jumper eingestellt ist . Das Klingt dann schön Voll und Rund und durch die Vactrols sehr Organisch .
