Ultimate Distortion for Metal

Amazing pedal. Extremely musical and reactive. Tons of beautiful saturation and high gain tones. Separate gate and independent key input makes so much sense, once you start playing with it can get a very expressive feature. Simply fantastic into a clean amp can turn a Fender into Mesa or Diezel ballpark. Also shines with active pickups and other overdrives running into it as boost. Highly recommended if you are into Metallica, Tool or other Heavy Metal/NuMetal tones.

Just get a Metalzone Mt-2 Waza

This pedal is alright on its own and an absolute shame for its price.

I've tried it out on multiple amps and the cheaper more reliable and (if you would like it to be) battery operated Metalzone Mt-2 Waza is way better for getting not only a range of tones but just good tones in general.

The "weight" and "heavy, lightish and heavier" options are cute but they don't really do much in terms of dealing with mids and clarity.

Theres more to say but I'm just as bored as this pedal is boring, a scam and a waste of money compared to other cheaper and more ergonomic options.

It really is a shame that this super heavy epic turbo monster "distortion" is just a chunky and overcompensating overdrive

I bought this one because I found a lot of top reviews on YouTube. Everything they say or that you heard is true. Nice tones, good saturation, massive gain. Sounds like a tube amp. I had one issue: my noise gate occasionnaly did shut and did not open again. Crap if you can't trust it. Especially when doing gigs. Send it back to Thomann after contacting the support and in no time a new one was send over to me. So: thank you to support service, perfect customer service. Anyways, when in doubt, sell a kidney and buy it. Would be 5 stars if I did not have an issue with it. But still one hell of a pedal that does it all. (as long its loud)
