I wanted an active set of pickups for a strat for recording and these fit the bill perfectly. Clean, quiet and great in the studio. Yes, they sound like active pickups, but in this situation their neutrality is a bonus. Recommended.

Great for 80s Floyd.

Ive had a rocky affair with EMG, this set has been in and out of several guitars over the years, its currently out in its box, if you want that 80s floyd sound, then this is the ticket, but other eras, no.
