Powerful Snare

This snare has a sharp attack and a great ring to it which helps it to really cut through a mix. The depth means you can really hear the resonance of the shell when recording too. My only criticism would be that the stick head that comes on it is a little thick for my preference, it sounds great for rock drumming and harder hitting, but for recording is a little lacking in sensitivity for a range of dynamics and softer styles. That said, hitting this thing hard is where it really shines! A strong, powerful and cutting back beat and big power blasting fills!

This snare drum sounds fantastic.

The construction is exactly what you would expect from DW, and so it feels like it could survive just about anything. The finish is of a high quality, and it looks great with its chrome shell.

The first thing to say about it is that it can get loud. It has no issues with cutting through a mix, and there is a pleasing crack off it when tuned high. The size of the drum also allows for low tunings, making this a really versatile drum to use as a main or side snare.

The DW standard heads are great, so it's good to go straight out of the box. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this snare drum.

Una gran caja en todos los sentidos, suena potente y a su vez con calidad y sin nada de armonicos molestos, los parches de fabrica son remo by USA, que le da una gran calidad de sonido desde el principio, sin tener que cambiar los parches de serie por otros mejores, en general DW te brinda lo mejor al instante, por ello es una de las mejores marcas del mundo para Bateristas.
