Not enough space for patch cables

Decksavers are kind of essential, but this is a rather let down (when used with Edge) by not allowing enough space for the patch cables and MIDI - the design is there to do it, but it doesn't allow enough space for the lid to shut flush, for the cables I use at least. Still does the job though, and it's well made.

Fits almost perfect

Fits perfect, but the only downside is that the patch cable part is too low, so you really need to bend the cables a lot so they can fit. Quality is perfect as always!

Nicht meine erste, sondern die x-te Decksaver-Schutzhaube in meinem Studio. Diese hier bedeckt einen Behringer Edge - für den sie so superperfekt nicht gemacht scheint: Die MIDI-Kabel müssen schon recht runtergedrückt, fast geknickt werden (ja, hier wären wohl Winkelstecker angebracht), damit sich die Abdeckung auf der anderen Seite noch so halbwegs schließt. Und allzu viel Verkabelung auf dem Panel darf auch nicht in die Luft ragen. Vielleicht passt es für Crave (ich habe keinen solchen) schöner?

Das ist bei anderen maßgegossenen Decksavern besser gelöst: von Waldorf Streichfett über Blofeld bis Behringers Model D und RD-6 und TB-3 und sogar Korgs MikroKorg, ebenso Rolands TR-08 oder die Reface-Keyboards von Yamaha.

Teuer sind die Decksaver alle, aber haben sich auch bewährt. Ich wollte, es gäbe eins für mein Zoom R24 (oder auch für Behringers LM Drum).
