Great for home use
Bought this amplifier for my Hifi setup after reading several positive forum posts from others that also have used the XLS amplifiers within their home setups. The amp has great sound quality. Fan noise and hiss are almost inaudible. Because of the .775v input sensitivity option, the amplifier can be used with normal home-grade preamps and such. I can most definitely recommend this amplifier.

Great amp!
Bought one of these to drive 2 RCF S8015LP in bridge mode and it has performed this task perfectly! The weight saving is a huge plus instead of carrying round a 20+kg amp, this little 4kg one does what the old amp did and more! I am not using any of the built in crossovers but they would come in very usefull if you wanted a simple plug and play system with no need for external crossovers.
I may buy another one!

Excellent, as reviewed
Got this as a power amp for my bass cabinet. I have plenty of preamps so I chose to go modular instead of buying a bass amplifier, this way the Crown can double as a Hi-Fi amp in the future.
Love the size and weight, it's ultra portable and everything I've read in reviews so far is accurate, probably best power amp for the money.
The one con is the lack of a dedicated bridged out, which means you need to rewire your speaker cables if you intend to use this in bridged mode.

Great Choice
My Crown XLS 1502 amp is great. I either use it with either EV ELX112s or two ROISTER 5 inch studio monitors. The sound is so clear and powerful!

Great amp for the price
I was stunned that amp in that price range could perform at that level. I used a couple of them in my install projects with both ceiling and on-wall speakers, it worked great in both cases. The DSP is also helpful, it gives you plenty of options to choose, from crossover, input sensitivity and input mode, limiter, etc.
Overall, great amp with plenty of power for good price. I didn't tried it with subwoofers yet, but for mid-high is definite recommendation.

Great PA amplifier
This was to replace a previous Crown PA amplifier that had died after many decades of use. Dead easy to use, great sounding audio, no audio hiss, no fan noise in our usage for church PA (presumably the fan comes on if it is driven hard). Coupled with that it was very well packaged and delivery and price from Thomann were good too.

Decent amp!
I bought this for some monitor speakers in my rehearsal space and I wanted to make sure I wanted some quality instead of cheaper no-brand names. So far so good - the Crown name is trustworthy and I also really like how it looks. The menu system is great allowing different modes (but I just it in split stereo for now).
It arrived in very good packaging so I had no worries with it travelling across from Germany to me in the UK..
A great workhorse amp I have had no issues with!
